My Printer/Scanner looks confusing

We can't do much unless you tell us the model and what operating system it's meant to be used with!

Lexmark are pretty good scanners. Check the instructions if it's like mine I think you should install the software before connecting in the scanner itself. The productivity suite is a dawdle to use.

The commonly accepted concept of the scanner/printer introduced by Nomad holds that each scanner/printer consists of a small, dense, positively charged nucleus surrounded by negatively charged electrons that move in fixed, defined orbits about the nucleus, the total number of electrons normally balancing the total positive charge of the scanner/printer particles in the nucleus.
