Kim and I had to take her van in for service this morning...she has been having trouble with the door that opens for her ramp to open and close. Anyway, she needs a new motor for the door, which is on order.
We decided that we had already killed the morning, so why bother going into the office for just a couple of hours. One of the perks of her being a volunteer there.
Anyway, we decided to go to a park which is a mile or so down the road from the van place for lunch. There is a nice little creek that runs through it, and we practically had the whole place to ourselves.
It was a tad bit breezy out, so we ate in the van, and then Kim took off to explore. Alot of good paved paths there along the water, so shee could get her chair a good far distance.
We werre there about an hour and a half, and went on home. Not bad.:-6

That sounds wonderful Marie, I went for a walk for my lunch break today, and it was wonderful. It was just warm enough and a nice breeze to feel really good.

I have steaks thawing out in the fridge. I'm going to marinate them, start up the grill, & make myself a great supper of steak, a baked potato, & corn!! That is, AFTER I change into shorts!! :yh_dance
