What a Bad Week

In my life I have been used to having hills put in front of me , this week someone has put a mountain there , it started on Tuesday , we were having tea and our doctor phoned my wife telling her that something had shown up in her blood that needed urgent investigation and he is trying to get her into hospital ASAP , now my wife is not the strongest Pearson to receive bad news and her imagination has gone into over drive and she is in a hell of a state , then last night we had a call from Norfolk telling us our daughter had been rushed in to hospital with terrible stomach pains , they put her on morphine and have done lots of blood tests , at this moment she is having a scan , we cant go to her because of the wife (I will go on my own if needed ) , to top it off my Mother in law is still expecting to stay for the bank holiday weekend ,

With all this going on I still have to try and pretend to be my usual strong happy go lucky self , I am beginning to think that this is the straw that may break the Camels back

Awww Fester, take care of yourself too. Keep us updated on what is going on with your wife and your daughter. I hope in both cases it turns out to be something with an easy cure.

Oh dear, what a terrible time you are having:( Just try to get through each day s it comes, you will find the strength, we usually do when its called for.

I hope it's all a storm in a teacup but it's rotten to have to go through it. Posting here is a better option than taking to drink, there's less of a hangover in the morning. If you try both at the same time we'll be able to tell, too.

wow what a terrible sequence of events Fester. Sorry to hear all this. Keep posting and venting until it passes. Take it minute by minute if you have.

Thank you for all your support :-4 nothing to report yet , had a call from Norwich hospital telling me I can phone her bed side , 49p ($1 ) per min ,rip off , I have Skype out (in credit) to protect their users they will not connect to premium numbers

It has not ended , just had a call from our son , little Daniel's blood count has dropped , no transfusion yet but steroids increased :-5 :-5
