Interesting chookie, though when I kinda looked at the odds for being killed in a road crash they seemed very low, so I checked and for odds of 77 to one, that would relate to a death rate on Irish roads per anuum of 54,000 people, (which seemed

high), I think the more likely figure for Ireland is about 5,500 to 1, given a death toll of about 500 per year and population of 4.3 million people.
