Schindler's list - I like most people already knew the facts but to see it portrayed like this was moving to say the least, the touch with the little girl's red coat the only colour in the frame was genius. I have not watched it again because I don't think I could.

City of God - yes it is

The Bycicle Thief- Absolutely fantastic exploration of the human condition.

Catch 22 - Only because of the book, probably as accurate (with a few fantasies thrown in) a war film as you will see.

Dr Strangelove- Donald Rumsfeld QED
"I have done my duty. I thank God for it!"

As for number 5 on your list, "Leon" was released in the United States titled as "The Professional".

I'd have to vote for Apocalypse Now and Little Big Man

They both gave alternative perspectives on history as we learn it.

The Wall.

There are many films that I deeply enjoy eg) Raise The Red Lantern.

Actually, add that to my list. But one's that changed my life? I think more of books for large numbers of influences.

When I watch the LotR 3 I was amazed...I can't believe Sean Bean although he is a good one but when I watched his latest film he's looks more hot and brilliant...I really adore his films and as what I've heard from the rumours that he had this Outlaw action film which is the most controversial and most explosive film of all time...However, I watched the trailer of this filma while ago and looks interesting...it really change ones mind on how the director and the producer made this film brilliant and worthy...a good story behind which is real and enthusiastic...

anyone can watch this film on the release date will change their conclusion about this film...:wah: :wah:

check this out for better info's..
