So now that I have wheels I decided to do a local place tonight for happy hour.

They were doing karaoke.:-3

I sat and watched the wretched, the impressive, the cute, the entertainers,

and wished for Simon Cowell to show.

After about an hour, a petite redhead sat beside me. We exchanged pleasantries and commented about the singers.

She asked, "Do you sing?"

"Yes, I do."

"What are you singing?"

"Oh me?" I said. "No. Not tonight."

She said, "Please. You have a beautiful voice."

I refused, she asked again, I told her no. I'm too shy.

(Stubborn male);)

Then we both became quiet. Watched the singers come and go.

I could feel the tension in the air.

I turned to her and said, "Something Stupid."

"Excuse me?"

"Frank and Nancy. Robbie and Nicole. 'Something Stupid'. You and I. A duet."

"Ok." she said.:)

So I made the request to the karaokemiester or whatever you call them and returned to my barstool.

We talked about the song and practiced a bit then it became our turn.

I told her to take the floor alone while I sang from my seat. I joined her on the second verse.

Holy Moses! We were a hit! They loved us!

Drinks on the house. Old ladies came up to us to say we were wonderful.

She's joining me on Sunday to go to The Art of Harleys in Wickham Park.

Oh my God. What have I done!

:D

For those that don't know the song..... Something Stupid

Funny, the replies.

For me it's not so much the singing as it is about the cute redhead!

:D

It's been 5 1/2 years since I've had a date!

Just got back from the grocery.

I bought a cooler, fried chicken, shrimp cocktail, pepperoni and aged swiss, olives, merlot and Newcastle.

Sounds like a nice little picnic in the park,eh?

Just the two of us and 1500 Harleys.

Nothing like the aroma of a pretty woman and panhead.
