i was in the garage (gas station )and a guy was on his mobile(cell)phone any was the cashier guy shouted at him to get off it as its a hazard ,but i saw on myth busters that its not the case ,then they said its because of the battery if you droped the phone its a risk coz of the spark and they went to say that there are loads of explosions on you tube but i cant find any ,any ideas on how to get the video's or on the likley hood of an explosion if you used the phone on the forecourt :-3 :-3

Jimbo my mum in law is in a hospice at the moment ,,, they do have most everything there the same as a hospital,,, but yet you do not have to turn off your mobile,,, so she can call ppl and we can call her etc. Yet hospitals insist u turn em off.

one of tony blairs pals runs the hospital phones ,so as the story goes its £ 1.50 per minute and if a load of that money goes to tb pals hey presto ,they bring out you cant use your mobile phone in the hospital

Apparently it can effect the machines, it can interfere with the transmission and cause the machines to stop working
My sister in law is a sister on a ward and she keeps her phone on unless she is near a ward where the patients are reliant on the machines.
I think it's awful the prices which are charged to use the phones and televisions on the wards. The tv was £3 a day when I was there, just as well I was too ill to watch it really :rolleyes:
