As a young child during some very bad times between my Mum and Dad. And at a time when he would beat me up - so badly I was in hospital a few times.

I dreamt, that there was someone in our house who was trying to kill my Mum, Sister (aged 10) and brother (aged 5) and me. I was trying to save them, but just knew that the only way to save them was too sacrifice myself. The mans voice just keep repeating ' its you or them'. Everytime I went to give in, I woke up.

I think it has something to do with the fear I had for him really hurting us. I went on to have this dream for years (from age 8 to teens).

I dreamed about a muppet that had satan's head sticking out of his chest and I had to tell him "dude, I don't think I can fix that for you".

I dreamed that my daughter died a few years ago. In the dream I was wandering around in a state of shock trying to get her shoes back to her. Woke up sobbing.

Someone told me that it is a good dream. It meant that something big changed in her life that was taking her is a positive direction. It fit too.

The worst dream I had recently is that my Ex-husband took my youngest son from me, he went for a visit and he wouldn't give him back to me. The sad part is that he did that before in real life with all three...so, I am sure it's linked to that fear of losing my babies again. (Even though they aren't babies-they are always gonna be MY babies!!):-4

I liked the fact I read somewhere you can " day dream" your dream again at will and choose how you proceed with it. I didn't really remember my dreams until I jotted down details in a notebook in the morning.Once I dreamt I was in a tiny cubicle with a guard outside, feeling claustrophobic so during the day I " went back into" the dream as it were and said to the Guard "Okay you see how you'd like to be like this - you get in here now" It was minor but I felt a bit better.

Couple of times I have dreamt about people who then went on to have a rough time of things. Wish I had more wisdom to know how to tune into this kind of thing. I look at dream dictionaries online but don't fully trust a one size fits all scenario.

I also wish I had a better imagination. When I hear people instructing would- be clients for hypnotherapy I think I could only be bothered to imagine the silver screen or scenery of the countryside for 2 secs then I'd be blinking the eyes open, sweating!
