laying in bed the other night i was woken by some mindless young moron with his stereo banging away and i though my god what is wrong with some people

then i thought back i used to do that and i used to hate old grumps that moaned all the time .. so me now would hate me then and vice versa

other things

learner driver whilst I was learning to drive i used to think for pete's sake all these impatient people ,every one had to learn to drive at some stage now of course learner drivers are a pain in the ass slowing the roads down getting in my way

i used to race along the pathes as a kid it was safer than the road and quicker now i get fed up jumping out of kids on their bikes way ,selfish little sods :wah: :wah:

can any one think of more then and now scenario's :rolleyes:

How about thinking its perfectly acceptable to turn up at your mates house drunk for a visit at 2am.

We used to do that to each other & think nothing of it.

My son and I had a similar conversation the other day....well a little off, but similar...he and g/f are having problems, so they are "taking a break", I said well "in my day" that was called breaking up....he said, "well in your day you also wrote with a chisel and stone"---OUCH!!!:yh_cry

But as to the thread's subject, I can add one...I went to a carnival last month in my home town for first time in over 20 years...I saw these kids walking around and flirting with each other and rolled my eyes and then OOOPS!!---that used to be ME!!

My wife had a good laugh the other day. I was out watering some spots in my lawn. A kid comes racing down the street with his window open. I sprayed water through his window and yelled at him to SLOW THE F DOWN. I then heard my wife laughing behind me saying, " You have to be kidding me, this from the guy who got three speeding tickets in one day", Yup felt like an old fart immediately.:wah:

Lets see... showing up at work hung over and bleary eyed having had about 90 minutes sleep.. Young guys who come to work for me do that all the time, and I feel pissed. But then I remember

As one of you said... thinking nothing of visiting a friend at 2am...

Yes, I blasted music. Even Im ashamed to say... gave waitresses a hard time. Late at night, in a diner, stoned with my music friends. But in a good way:wah: and left a good tip.

Seeing dorky teenaged girls dressed in schoolcolors or wearing T-Bird regalia, screeching in that high pitched squeal about their boyfriends or whatever else is exciting at the moment, like it's the most important thing in the world. It makes me nuts to see it and equally nuts to know I once did the same thing.

Seeing youngsters walking through town talking to each other in really loud voices to make sure that they have loads of attention (me and my friend Sally used to do that):rolleyes:
