why are people so nasty to others

I find it mostly in the workplace females and their clicks, since I wont sit and gossip and back stab, Im usually on the outside looking in, but hey thats ok.

Still mad/upset about about today at work :yh_angry Sorry to hear that.

I think I know how you feel.I myself have have been rude to others on occasion.But usually only after they have been hateful to me.

Some people are just mean and don't care if you like it or not.I have had my feeling hurt numerous times in my life by peoplewho think they can get away with it.I will take alot of crap,I try to be nice.Some people take it as a sign of weakness.and it only fuels thier fire. thoes people SUCK :yh_tongue

alot of the time it is because they feel insulted or hurt themselves in some way and strike back..often not at what or who is really bothering them to begin with....imho

i used to live by the walk away and ignore standard but now i tell them why i am doing it first...:p i dont want to leave them wondering why the last thing they ever saw of me was the back of my butt...strolling off humming a tune....

yes there is some nasty people out there on other forums especially. there was a guy i used to chat to, we got close, swapped phone numbers and msn addy's. he was declaring his love for me and then after 4 weeks he decided he didn't want to know me no more for no reason, so he went on this nasty forum and started being nasty about me, putting lies down saying i was stalking him but i never was.

so this morning i went on there and put the truth on it. but i know they will believe him more than me, but i have a friend that i told everything to so she's knows the truth ore than the others.

I think a lot of it is because people are so fake, in real life and especially on forums. I know people here at FG who say how much they "love" others and then they stab them in the back to the faces of the rest of us. I've seen a lot of that here and been stabbed and seen others stabbed. People like that are very small. Lowlifes even. While you can't be expected to like everyone, you don't have to be a jerk about it either. I think it's best to spend your valuable time on those you can respect.

i am sorry to say i have been nasty to one person fg but she was very nasty to me for no reason

i do talk to someone that dont like me and to be honest she is not my fave fg er but she is having a hard and i dont like to put the boot in whilst they are down i help them up .... ok i may trip them over when they get up :wah: just kidding

What's the point of just being nasty for the sake of it? It eats you up inside however justified you might feel.

If you don't agree with someone say so but a point of view isn't a whole person, I adore Red Glitter but I don't always agree with what she says, she won't mind me saying so here because she's grown up enough to know that it's not personal and enjoys a debate. that's as it should be.

As for calling MF evil - well I don't think so, stubborn, funny, challenging, holding strong opinions maybe but not evil.

Maybe you'd make a magical tag team if you paired up. This is kayfabe, remember? You've seen her in costume, she's seen you play a few bouts, nobody gets invited round for a meal after the show. It's when that happens that a forum site gets depth. The one thing that always puts me in hoots of laughter, though, is anyone posting "what you see is what you get, I'm no different here than IRL".

I think it comes down to lack of respect Neffs, people in puter world tend to be a lot more abusive and abrubt, as they think the screen serves some protection

I have read many things here that I know for a fact, with the exception of maybe 5 people it would NEVER of been said to their faces'.

I think if anyone feels pi55ed off with folks, it's far better to leave alone, the thing is I think this place is very addictive to the point where it can become their lives, that IMO is dangerous, this place is supposed to be fun, a place to relax and unwind.

At the end of the day their are some really nice people here and on the other hand........., everyone deals with things differently, I am totally pi55ed off with a couple of people here at the moment but I figure the best thing to do is ignore them

TBH I've never understood the wanting to get to meet/know guys over the internet, I would be inclined to think that there is something wrong with people that have to try to get a partner/fling/shag buddy over the net.

I sometimes think people get carried away with the anonimity of the internet, it's easy to be someone that you're not in real life. You can be that confident, hard-nosed, bitch (not just confined to women) that perhaps you wish you were. You can have the courage to give that witty, nasty put-down. You also can't see the effect you're having on someone. That funny retort that makes one person laugh can be destructive to another.

I'm no innocent here, today I amended a post because a word that means one thing to me offended someone else with another meaning. I'm glad she picked me up on it because I won't use that word again.

In real life - some people are just plain horrible, the only thing I try to do is not lower myself to their standards without becoming a doormat, hard to do but not impossible.
