A member pm'd me awhile back and asked if I could find a song performed by a particular artist. And I found it,
"Cause I'm good like that.:p
I found the tune particularly striking.
No surprise considering the one who requested it.
I work for a man that is a genius.
He's also crazy.
His ideas and concepts become reality within 48 hrs.
I have the fullest of respect and admiration for that man but I'd leave him in a heartbeat if he ever prevented the success of his creation.
You see, he tries too hard.
He tries too hard to prove his worth to others. And that gets in the way.
His presentation is so long winded it soon becomes banal and his audience loses interest.
When he tries to pull that on me, I call him on it. He doesn't acknowledge that he's just been busted but he knows. We let it pass and we move on.
My point?
If I have a friend and that person may be getting reckless, I call them on it.
I've lost friends and lovers over that. And I've gained close, tight, lifelong
relationships from it.
Obviously my forum (no pun intended) for calling someone out was a very bad choice.
If she would like to discuss my reasons privately then she is more than welcome.
As for the song request?
Heh. I found it quite fitting for this situation if not for FG and the entire
world.
If you think you know the song wait. Stop. Listen to this version. It speaks
volumes.

Thanks for the compliment. The link won't work for me though, and yes even if you think you know the song, you don't know this version unless you have listened to the entire thing.

I May Be Crazy
Working now. Such a wonderful song. It has taken over the ten minute version of my ding-a-ling as the front runner for the funeral dirge.

I know the post wasn't for me, but I was the one that asked you to play the song. The compliment I was referring to was this:

That, is a compliment, to me. Commas included on purpose.

The man is amazing, I would love to meet him. Not meet in some crazy venue, just walking or in a small bar somewhere. Have you seen pictures of him? You can see the trouble in his eyes. It has been a long time since I could feel a song like one he sings. Did you read the story I posted about Larry and Sue? I talked about another one of his songs in that one, and check out, "You can bring me flowers".
