Me, myself ..... very nice, as for my 3 kids that aren't very quiet at all times, I'm probably very hated, lucky for me we have space between our homes.

I keep to myself mostly but if anyone needed me I'd be available to help. I'm quiet and go about my business and let everyone else go about theirs. I think that makes me a fine neighbor.

Hi all-

I don't think I'm the best neighbor in the world but I wouldn't say any of my neighbors are either. Sometimes I wish more of us were around during the day, outside, hanging the laundry, throwing balls in the street (the kids), sitting on the porch, things like that. Around here everyone's gone at work during the day or else sitting inside doing whatever they do, watching the tube or surfing the internet. Why else wouldn't they be outside meeting the neighbors?

Are those days gone where I live? Maybe. Am I nostalgic and unrealistic? Yeah maybe so. I don't know what I'd do if people were like this anyway. Plus it takes a long time to get to know neighbors I think because everyone moves around so much, at least I find this to be the case.

Bye :)

Quiet. Always give a friendly wave, but keep to myself. I'm not one to stand over the fence coffee cup in hand gossiping about the other neighbours.

I know all my neighbors really well. We have cook outs, the kids all play together, and we watch one anothers property if any of us should go out of town. :)

I did unto them as I would be done to and they've not spoken since.

I'm friendly to my neighbours. I don't stand and yap over a cuppa, but if they need anything I'm always there to help.

One of my neighbours is really noisy, her dogs are noisy and so are her kids, but I tolerate it (unless I have a headache) for a while, then I have to ask her in a very polite manner to keep it down a bit. I've done that a few times over the 10 years she's been next door. She always listens and tries her best to calm down. I' guess I'm used to her now.

Since I live in the middle of a cornfield, my neighbors are at least a mile away. We all pretty much go our own way. But if we need any of them they will be right there to help. My husband meets most of the guys to drink coffee at the farm service (fertizer, chemicals, seed) business every moring. He brings home any happening or gossip. We are a big part of the gossip right now as we are buying another farm. Thats always big news. As for myself I pretty much stick to myself.

Seem to always to be busy doing something. I always wave to everyone who drives by if I'm in the yard, or in my car and meet them. My husband is more out going as if he outside doing something, someone will stop and stay for a couple hours. That is if it's not planting or harvest time. Then everyone is on the constant run and does not have time to gab. :driving::driving:

My street is good, I live next door to a friend I went to school with so our children are always trekking in and out of one anothers houses.

Her garden is better than mine so we sit out in the sun and drink coffee occasionally.

The rest of the street pretty much keep themselves to themselves but they always speak if we see them.

I'm a really good neighbour :D, I pull in washing if it starts raining, let dogs out if the neighbours are out all day, babysit etc, but it works both ways, my neighbour does the same for me! :-6

My neighbors used to talk about me behind my back all the time, but once I started taking that medication they stopped.
