yes I do in this case, the version of the joke I first heard had the word 'little' before prick in the punchline - again at the expense of men.
Whilst I agree that our society is patriachial I do feel that the tide is slowly turning. Let's face it girls are consistantly out performing boys at school, it is no longer acceptable to consider or treat women as inferior to men and there are so many taboos within comedy that the last group of people that it is acceptable to make jokes about are straight, white men!
