Lon asked a question.
Lon was attacked for asking the question.
A typical Lon statement with much presumption. Let's get that part straight. I know what the goal was and I didn't bite. Nobody attacked Lon. That's ridiculous. Several thought the statement (not an actual question even) was out of bounds as did I.
I supported the thesis of the query, which is not hard to follow.
Nobody is worried about the eggplant's feeling but a few of us find it just as astonishing that vegetables sincerely gross you out as you find it astonishing that we see a correlation between the vegetables and some human deformities.
I'm used to the first part. I have friends who think I'm crazy for freaking out around ugly plants and deformed produce. We just don't understand each other. Yet I have other friends who agree the stuff is horrible. It's nature run amok and She's not supposed to do that.
I'm not astonished exactly, but I am very perplexed as to why a thinking human would draw parallels between insulting deformed eggplants and insulting other human beings.
Why is this so hard to follow?
Koan, I must ask you the same thing. I want to say because it's far fetched but I don't want to be rude. Maybe we're just never going to understand each other on this one.
Now, back to disussions of produce?
I'm not sure there's much more to say. Is there?
