Elvis Presley Get Together

I heard earlier this week on the radio, that there was a get-together of some kind for the passing of Elvis. I guess the real Elivs fans get together for something. Does anybody know about this or where it is?:-2

August 16th is the anniversary of Elvis' death.

So fans throw a party.

They'll be running all his movies on tv too so if you ever wanted to see some Elvis Week is the time.

A theater in my neighboorhood was playing elvis movies all day today. i have been to the Elvis candlelight vigil... its, um, interesting.

People cry, dress up, camp out, sing, cry some more, read letters they have written to the late king, group hug, cry...

after that, everyone (thousands of people) light the free candles and sway to the sounds of elvis's guitar on their way to walk past his grave.
