I will keep this story short, many of you know I split from my 3 year relationship this past February, and I have struggled with the getting over it, for the most part I did good. I slip every now and then and miss the dam guy ok. So a funny thing happened I went back into online dating and was matched with him ahaha we just closed that file up and never went back.

I still have all that info in my system mind you so I decided I was going to delete the old stuff but took one last look at his profile....

I am just sick, sick sick, he has 2 photos on his dating profile that have my kid included. WTF am I wrong to be horrified! One is titled my Rent-a-kids (f***me my daughter is nothing to him)

I am vibrating in anger over this. Second photo her face is in there as well as mine UGH what the heck is up with this?

What do I do, I do NOT want my kids pic out there like that. Am I over reacting?

Gawd you guys am I an idiot for feeling this.

Can you get ahold of this guy and have the photos removed?

There should be a privacy issue here?

I guess I am going to have to try, this is the guy who very unceremoniously dumped me for such reasons as he had to much on his plate and dating had to be put on hold (then was matched up with me not 5 weeks after dumping me. I have no idea if I can reach him and this is extremely uncomfortable but yes it's a huge privacy thing.

I would be very upset Minks...and frustrated until I got those pictures removed. I wonder if you can contact the site admin?? I would report him using pictures without your permission.

Minks, I would be furious if someone place pictures of my kids on the net. He has no business doing that, they are not his kids (I assume) tell him to get the photos off and to go get his own kids.

The dating site will delete his account if you complain about it to them, they have to have a quick-response method to complaints over photos. Find the button and click.

Maybe that is a good start point WW3 thank you, I am amazed they would even allow pics of kids, I know of other date sites that ask you not to.

Part of me wants to calmly call the ******* and be very polite and let him know myself that those pics are not appropriate and I do not want them on the dating site.

Do you think thats why he did it though?? A part of me thinks that this was a ploy to get to you!! I'd see if I could get around it without him knowing that he's upset you.

If you guys met on that site, he knows you more than likely will see it!

no we did not meet on this site, we were matched by the site here after we had split. When the match came to me online there were NO pics of Jr Minks in it. I suspect he thinks I would never see his profile again cause it's not a lookie see site it's like matchmaking. We do not have the ability to search through candidates.

Be happy your not seeing him anymore - using these pics, from all the pics to choose from? IMO is weird and a bit scarey.

exactly patsy exactly. My daughter is a very pretty girl, she is 16 it's just wrong.

I think he needs to hear directly from me first then I will immediately contact the site and blast them for allowing these pics on the date site.

Go for the throat - no warning, just a complaint to the site admin stressing that he has not received your permission and mentioning that you are considering how best to take legal action against him.

Hi Mel,

I would be furious. We have to protect our children. He had not right to do that. If Admin won't help you, I'd call the police. Seriously, I would :-5

Do what Bryn said - to start with. If that doesn't get the result you want, get the police, the lawyers and the media involved.

Did he ask you if he could put your childrens pictures on the net? No!

Just contact the site and complain...complain..complain.

M, he didn't ask you if he could put them up.

I wouldn't ask him to take them down, I'd go through the site and risk his account.

I'm sure he'll know it was you behind it.

He had no business doing this.

I think you have every right to be absolutely furious. He has no right putting pics of your children up (on a damn dating site no less). I don't think he deserves a personal request - cut him off at the knees with admin. I hope that gets worked out for you.

Get the admin. If you have to and if you can afford it only communicate with this mouth breather through a lawyer. Don't give him the satisfaction of hearing you upset.

Ok I sent a letter to the admin of the site and explained the situation and asked them to kindly remove the pictures. I shall not contact the ex it's not worth the grief.

I shall keep you updated. Thanks everybody for the support.

Sometimes when I feel like killing someone, I do a little trick to calm myself down. I'll go over to the persons house and ring the doorbell. When the person comes to the door, I'm gone, but you know what I've left on the porch? A jack-o-lantern with a knife stuck in the side of it's head with a note that says "You." After that I usually feel a lot better, and no harm done.
