Thanks greydeadhead, right now I'm very anxious and leary of the unknown!
I hope to be able to get into this "retirement thing" and begin to enjoy it. But my first day is rough as I have been sick the last two weeks with a nasty head cold & never ending cough. So I'm house bound intill I recover, when ever that may be! :wah:
Heres wishing you a l-o-n-g and happy retirement Cars, Spring is on the way so it'll be lovely to see more of you in the garden digging & planting new flowerbeds for us to add too, well done x

Thanks abbey, I hope to be able to enjoy my retirement as I get used to it!

Thanks minks, I will try my best to adjust to my new life style. I think it may be a little difficult at first, but I suspect that in time I will get used to it! :wah:
I already do have a fast car (Gran Prix) bought it when I was younger. It can go fast, but I don't usually exceed the posted speed limit by more then 6 to 7 MPH. (Boring)
BabyRider wrote: Yay!!!! Way to go Cars! I hope you enjoy your freedom. If you do buy that Vette' will you come take me for a ride? :yh_wink
You'd be one of the first BR. But I already had a vett rag top (1963) in my younger years, it was awesome! I also had a XKE rag top-(1971) very fast, A full race Ford police intercepter- also very fast. I was lucky as I never got a speeding ticket. Many parking tickets, but not speeding. :guitarist
Go goof off tomorrow and see a good movie.Lon, how could you sit and watch movies in your retirement? That's for the old folks on the hill. Get out into the fresh air. Take that trip you have always wanted to.:driving:

LC that was then, (last week ha-ha) now I'm older and don't race anymore. Or speed excessivly either for that matter. I do around 62mph (RH lane) in a 55mph zone, and am zoomed passed it seems by every other driver on the road. :wah:
