NASA World Wind- need help!

Post by RedGlitter »

Tonight I tried to get WW and at first during setup, it shut down on me and told me I needed to get MS NET Framework 2.0 I think it was. So I did. After that every time I'd try to open up WW, I would get a "this program has encountered an error and needs to close, send error report." Every time!!

I uninstalled and reinstalled. Several times. Same thing keeps happening.

I want this program!!! My very patient friend spent his time sending me pictures of stuff because I couldn't see it otherwise. I was really taken by this thing. So is it something I am doing wrong? It must be me. I downloaded WW both from the original site and also from Major Geeks thinking it might be different.

Can somebody help me please?? :(

It seems to be some huge undertaking of satellite (?) aerial photographs of the world over. Since I wasn't able to get it, my friend was sending me files of photos of Mt. Everest, Niagara Falls, the St. Louis Gateway Arch and even Venice. I don't know much more about it for obvious reasons though but what I saw was pretty impressive.
