Lack of consentration......

.......Almost cost me my life

I can't believe this just happened.. :-1 I'm still shaking :-5

I've just been out running an errand for work and I was standing at a set of traffic lights waiting for the "green man"

When all the lights are in my favour, I begin to cross the road along with some others. Half way across I notice a car coming at speed towards me.

The driver has obviously missed the fact that he is approaching a red light and after seeing the look of horror on my face - he screeches to a hault, missing me by a few inches......!!

Oh PC thank god you are ok:-4 bet that give you a nasty shock. its weird as well cos hubby just told me a little while ago he very nearly knowcked over a young man today who was just wandering across the road wearing one of those i pods !! He said his heart was thumping, he didnt think he was going to be able to stop in time. That young man didnt half get an earful i can tell ya:wah:

You need a cup of tea, a bar of chocolate and a big zapper to take out next time to zap the next idiot who does that!

Life would get in a rut without the occasional shock. You're alive, you might not have been, see the good side of having it pointed out so forcefully. Do something special to celebrate.

Glad your OK... You were meant to live. This was one of those moments that gives you a new lease on life. Tomorrow, you will be shaken, but remewed. You probably wont forget this incident for a long time.

Wow pinkc, who said they're no guardian angels out there!? Yours was!!!

That was definately way too close for comfort, glad you're OK, and only needlessly shakened! Too bad it's against the law to beat somebody over the head with a baseball bat!!! Well hope you did take some time to have some chocolate, & wash it down with a Mudslide!
