American Schools - my experience

Post by Pheasy »

With all my issues I have put up for discussion lately, I would like to point out that, based on my own school years and those of my sons, as a whole I have been very impressed with my children's Elementary school.

They are obviously dedicated to the children and their education. Whenever I have had an issue or concern (okay, so its got to the point where the Principal actually hides if he sees Pheasy approaching :wah:), they have ALWAYS been ready to resolve and accommodate. Don't get me wrong, any issues/concerns I have had, have mostly been as a concern for all children at the school and not just my own.

I really hope that the Jr.High and High school will be as impressive as the Elementary school. :-6

Whats the schools like in your area?

American Schools - my experience

Post by Sheryl »

I live in an extremely small town. PreK-8th are in one building. The highschool is just 2 blocks down the road. My husband went to school here all his life, and I did all my highschool years here. It's easy to get answers if you have any questions, and everyone is very friendly.

Last year, my son got a free ticket to a circus for attendence. That evening the principal called and told me he had a ticket for my daughter (she was 3) and he would bring it by. It was extremely nice of them to think of the kids younger siblings. :)
