I landed the job of my choice... yep I will be moving on to a better, faster paced, larger, more secure company.

I will be working with my exboss as a team to support one man in this new company, he is desperate need of what we gals do best (our experience)

I start at +5 Grand per year more than I make here, then will be bumped another +3 Grand per year at my 3 month period. With another increase in 6 months.

There is potential to move up, there will be travel opportunities, and other nice perks.

I await my official offer and will make the move November 1.

I am over the moon with excitement.

well you who alluded to this fact.... I won't be posting during my work hours anymore. No more private office, work in the shop and with a team of 3. And very busy trust me this situation is a blessing, least I will have steady work yipeeee

SuzyB there is that chance, the boss to be stated England is their next new endeavour which is exciting as heck. Means I could potentially be sent there for set up. Ya never know.

thanks ya, it's a tad frustrating at the mo. Seems I can't hand in my resignation till somebody tells me who I now report to since my boss leaves friday... apparently somebody will meet with me between now and then now that is how retarded this place is.

I am so pissed off... this company won't accept my resignation today.... nope I went to my new boss he would not even open it, said talk to the president, went to him and he refused to open it asked me to hang onto it, wants me to give a months notice not the obligatory 2 weeks... I said no, I am moving on, then had to explain some of the problems and shortcomings of this place and why I want out... he babbled on about the great future yada yada, I simply said I haven't seen "great" from here in months I can't work here. Then said "I can't work with ****) my new boss, the arsehole engineer whom I have complained about over and over again including on FG. Funny thing this has been the same complaint to the pres by 3 other past management staff. Makes me sick... Phecker asked about what if we brought you into more meetings I said I have been apart of implimented changes here time and time again, they fall on deaf ears in the end, I said NO!

You have satisfied your obligation by serving notice of termination of contract - if they choose not to open or acknowledge it that is there affair.

Let the next two weeks float over your head and look forward to your new life :-6

yeah you got it. But I put a memo in with my letter dated for mondays date stating my resignation stands firm, and my notice was served Friday my 2 weeks obligation to them is based on the fridays date and I also stated that both the new boss and president refused my resignation on the Friday. If it gets messy the labor board would love to hear from me. I have a couple people who will vouch for me if need be. :-5

Id do the same thing if you resigned here. Id make you go sit in your room with no dinner. Then Id put a lock on the door while you were napping. After that Id drill a little hole in the door and shoot a water pistol at you.
