What are your thoughts on the Patriot Act?

Too much big brother? Not enough?

Worried about how we are losing our individual liberties/rights as Americans because of this act?

If the Patriot Act is allowed to stand it will be the end of civil liberty as we know it. If you are a true patriot, you must oppose it and defy it at every turn.

Actually, I won't wait! There are enough laws on the books already (pre-patriot act) to accomplish what needs to be done. I may expand on this later - but gotta run!

Hey Everyone,

I would love to jump in and give you a super-conservative heavily armed keep your hands off my guns damn the torpedoes praise the lord and pass the ammunition type of response, but I can't!

I have not read the Patriot Act. I've read snippets from both sides but I can't make any comments because of that.

What I can say is simple: The Government has enough power as it is. (b4 the patriot act.)

All they need to do is enforce the laws already on the books and let the FBI, NSA, and Border Patrol do their work.

Let me reiterate: Border Patrol. We can get a handle on this if the Executive Branch gets its rear in gear and puts some teeth into getting our borders tightened up. You can have 100,000 new Patriot Act provisions but it won't mean squat if hundreds of radical Islamists are coming in from the South and North on a weekly basis.

Everybody in Ireland loves the Great United States of America. We love your culture,your people,your food and bars,your country & western music. In fact we love a good deal about America. Every teenager wants to visit America, my old mother wanted to see America before she died.

But I'm asking American people to go out and get some Real All American Boys & Girls and put a proper,decent,tough President in the white house. Bush & Kerry is Not the kind of stuff Americans or The World needs.
