We all have weird and wonderful Nicknames we use here, share the story behind your name.

Forgive me if you had done this before but I missed out lol:wah:

My real name is Cheryl and all through life i have been called, Chez, Chezzie or Chiggs.... Mostly Chezzie so that's the name I have always used on forums, msn, etc....

My dad used to call me chook no idea why now hubby calls me chick and he never knew what dad called me....

I finally managed to go back for a visit earlier this year - just to see if it was still there.

Found the old house and, apart from a couple of new houses behind it, nothing had changed.

As long as we have known eachother Ive never been able to call you Chez. Im sorry I havent told you sooner and I hope your feelings arent hurt. To me Chez doesnt suit you. It doesnt fit, it doesnt "feel" right when I think of you as Chez.

Its a good name, theres nothing wrong with it but it doesnt work for me.

I will call you Chez if thats what you prefer but going back as far as we do I hope you will understand when I say to me you are

I've never gone by "WonderWendy" until I came to the garden....at the time I felt like I thought I was WonderWoman....which well knowing I am NOT! I have other silly nick-names, but went with this one that I made up for myself....

I am thankful that I chose NOT to use "String-bean legs and Ding-bat".......:wah:

My real name is Kathy Ellen and my family still call me that full name. I was named after my Mom, Nana and Auntie Ellen who lived in Ireland...she was my Nana's sister.

I am crazy about glitter, red glitter being the supreme color of glitter in the craft store.

I sprinkle glitter everywhere, including out in the yard so the sun catches it. I'd even put it on the cat if it was healthy for them.

Red is my favorite color as well.

My friends nicknamed me Weeds.... My landscape business was called Weeds

& Leaves, my youngest son picked the name 15 years ago when I was trying to come up with something for my business liscense. Customers have always loved it. Real name is Laura. My dad named me after Jeanne Tierney

who played Laura in the movie by that same name almost 60 years ago.

My first and middle name is Alonzo Jay--------as a young lad I was called Lonnie, in high school and college it was Lon, by my mentor it was Horsebud, by some New Zealanders it is Lawn (they have a hard time saying Lon), by my in-laws it is Jay, some friends call me ass----, some call me shi-hea-, some never call.
