Running slow

Post by abbey »

For the past week FG seems to be running really slow.

When I try to post a reply it takes an age and I lose connection (cannot find server)

It's driving me crackers.

It makes me want to go back to basics! :D

So slow nobodies been able to reply to your post? :wah:

I have a fifteen second timeout here and this morning it's hitting the buffers on half my accesses.

The other half it's just getting in but taking at least ten seconds.

Thanks for these reports. Funny, I've been enjoying fast responses. I'll look into this deeper though.

Looking at your timestamps, it appears that this is probably happening during server backups - which start a little after 1 a.m. Pacific Time.

I'll modify the backup schedule - so you should be able to see/feel a difference tonight.
