No, it won't. The technicalities have never stopped anyone being regent before. It will stop CPB having a very significant title, though.

Well, to be fair, he won't be exactly the "ruler".... she will have very much less influence... go back in history, see what old king or other had to say...

Heh. He's paid 40% tax on income from the Duchy of Cornwall since 1993. He does not receive money from the Civil List:
"The prince voluntarily pays income tax at 40% on his duchy income and, like William and Harry, does not have an allowance from the Civil List.
Charles' tax bill was included in his £4.4 million personal expenditure, and he spent a further £5.9 million on official duties and charitable activities, the figures revealed."

So the cynical Windsors yet again manipulte the situation to their own advantage.
let's just analyse the statemnts
1) It will be a civil ceremony - Well Charlie it HAS to be, you are a self confessed high Anglican, this church does not allow divorcees to remarry in a religious ceremony, in other words you had no choice.
2) Camilla will become Duchess of Cornwall not Princess of Wales, yet her husban will be Prince of wales (and Duke of Cornwall), she will not take POW title because of the still strong feelings for Princess Diana.
3) When (and if) Charles becmes King she will not be Queen Camilla but the Princess Consort. Given that the roayl family tries to keep in place by using the "Tradition" card how can they flout this tradition. When male heirs succeed to the throne their wives become Queen (see George IV and princess, subsequently Queen Caroline), if the heir is female, eg Victoria their husband becomes a consort.
3) Perfect timing as the press will be fully taken up with the May general election.
IMO the one and only hope for the future of the monachy in this country is Charles to be passed over and William to succeed.
Another question is why did Edward have to abdicate to marry Wallis (the ugliest woman in creation) Simpson but it's OK for Charlie boy to marry Camilla and rule.
Upon Succession Charles will become Supreme Governor of the Anglican church, a church that supports the view that marriage is for ever, how can this be?

You mean Wallis found three guys !!!!!!
I have long held the suspicion that she must have been dynamite at something because from what I see she is not exactly a great beauty and from what I read was not a particularly nice personality, so what was it cooking, needlework what????

I think it's absolutely HORRID!
LOL! Poor Camilla..........Diana casts a looooooong shadow.
The paper says she's going to be the queen consort.
But being as they are both in their late fifties, it wont be long before William will be king anyway.
