When's the last time you used a laundromat?

I had to when I was working on a film in Saskatoon a few years ago. Weird places, those.

When I was in North Vancouver I started taking my bin to the laundromat and paying them to wash them for me. My work hours were just too long to leave me the time. That was even weirder. They fold the shirts right down the middle fresh out of the machine... it leaves big creases! I had to stop eventually because I wasn't about to tell them how to fold clothes.

I go to the laundromat to wash all the comforters on the beds here about twice a year..its a good reminder to when i was young and had to wash all my clothes there..i love my washer and drier...:-4

i always end up sitting there talking to all the other people using the facility...

sometimes i forget how lucky i really am....its so easy to take for granted all the wonderful things i do have in my life...:o

Comforters are a tough one. Good reason to go for duvets.

I used to love going to the laundromat... I haven't been to one in years. Not since I lived in a downtown high-rise.

I like how you can do five loads of laundry at once.

I was at a downtown laundromat years ago. There was an older black gentleman sitting in a chair in his underwear with a bottle of wine in his hand and a womens blonde wig on his head.

Thats all I know as I didnt strike up a conversation with him.

He had his problems and I had mine.

:wah: Nomie kinda' reminds me of my old buddy Kenny from back at university out East... I remember one time late at night, there was a bunch of us screwin' around at the laundromat while washing our laundry and he suddenly wonders if he could fit into the dryer, so we helped him get in and turned it on... which we all found disturbingly ammusing, but me... not seeing the point in him being in the dryer and not needing to be dried, went to the sink and got a cup of water and opened the door quickly and tossed it in there on him whilst he was spinning... Laundromats are so much fun. :D

That Kenny ! :wah:

We had a Kenny but his name was Lance.

We brought him out and got him drunk at several stripper joints.

After he passed out we all chipped in and bought him a one way bus ticket out of town and put him on it.

We pinned a note to his shirt with his name, address and phone #.

We had a Jason that we wrapped in toilet paper and shoved out into the rain... he told us he wouldn't mind. How can you not do that to someone who says 'go for it'?
