The Minute Ya Buy It...

Post by koan »

My daughter had an earache a few months ago... it was a slow process, I suspected from water at the beach... so I put it off and put it off because she was sleeping well and not complaining too much... then the third day I figured I'd better do it.

I bought eardrops. Almost $12.

The minute we got home she said she was really sorry but the ache had stopped.

Now I'm using eardrops once a week because I can't stand to waste anything!!

The standard one is joining the Scouts / Guides.

As soon as you buy the uniform they stop going.

they have joined Ballet, Brownies, dance class, tap dance, irish dancing and keyboard lessons.

They do drama every week and have stuck to it, thankfully cos I pay at the start of each term and it aint cheap.

Latest fad is Basketball, the cheshire jets have been visiting their school and now they want to go and buy balls, t-shirts..big fingers!!! and go to all the games:-5

:wah::wah: Well they say prevention is better than cure! I am glad that she is feeling better, nothing worse than earache.

Jenna does Drama and has stuck to that for 5 years and Sam has played football for 8 years, they are the only things that they have stuck at, they are both down for music lessons, Jenna starts Drums in January and Sam is going to learn guitar, I will be investing in ear plugs!

My youngest daughter is just looking round for a keyboard tutor but at least she'll be paying for her own lessons :-)

We've gone from ukelele to alto sax this year. I know a few people who wanted to learn drums but the parents wouldn't allow the noise. :wah:
