Flowers hold a special significance in everybody's life. These tender blossoms fill our world with abundant joy and happiness and color the world in perfect Diaspora. Every flower has some significance and holds an individual meaning of its own. Whether it is roses, Chrysanthemums, lilies or jasmines, each of them has a tale to tell. Here I am, posting names of different flowers with their importance and meaning. So next time you select flowers for someone, you can be absolutely sure what they convey to the recipient.

Pink Carnation - Unforgelinksable

Red Carnation – longing for someone, Admiration;

Purple Carnation - untrustworthy;

White Carnation – delicate, tender, sweet and lovely, innocent, true Love

Yellow Carnation - disappointment and rejection.

Carnations are a symbol of love, admiration and alinksachment. Carnations in ancient times were known as “Jove's Flower and were given as a tribute to the Gods in ancient Rome. It is believed in Korea that if a young girl places three carnations in her hair it signifies her fortune. If the top flower dies first then it means that the last years of her life will be difficult. If it is the middle flower then her earlier years will be disturbing and if the first flower dies the girl will be sad and miserable her entire life.

Violets are a very beautiful and mystifying flower. There are many tales alinksached to this flower. One roman ancient tale tells about some lovely maids who became the sufferers of Venus' anger when cupid pronounced be more beautiful than her. In her jealousy venus beat the maidens until they turned blue and turned into violets. It is said if a person dreams of violets then it's an indication towards success and moving ahead in life. A garland of violets worn around the head like a headband prevents one from gelinksing dizzy. And these violet flowers are always considered as a good luck symbol for any woman.

Red Chrysanthemum - Love

White Chrysanthemum -Truthful

Yellow Chrysanthemum -hurt Love

The flower chrysanthemums normally mean happiness, love and cheerfulness. For many years, chrysanthemum signifies praise and admiration. A chrysanthemum is considered as a noble flower of the Chinese noble class. It is believed in China that if a chrysanthemum that has been used to wipe's one mouth after drinking wine is given to your beloved it will promise undying love and loyalty of the partner. The Japanese hold this flower as the symbol of the sun. they also believe that a single chrysanthemum petal placed in the bolinksom of a wine glass will ensure a long and healthy life.

Roses are through time the flower of love and passion. A rose signifies the ultimate beauty and art of perfection. The word rose comes from a Latin word rosa, meaning red. But other than the universal typical red rose, this flower comes in different colors. The Romans believed that white roses grew where the tears of Venus fell. Her son Cupid was when stung by a bee shot arrows in the rose garden and they became thorns. Venus then pricked her foot on these thorns and dyed the roses red. Like this, there are many different tales related to roses.

But now i know that i should be getting roses for my birthday every year :wah:
