Frozen Shoulder.. Medical Condition.

Had it. Got treatment. All better now.

It also occurs in people who have had open chest surgery, that is the most common way.

I had had surgery just before I got frozen shoulder but it wasn't chest surgery. It was so rare the doctor brought an intern in to see me and had me explain my condition and pain.

Angel, yours sounds like bursitis. Been there, done that ,too. Bothered me for months and nothing worked. I fell on the patio and tried to catch my self with my arms. Well, that tore my rotator cuff. I suppose it was weak from me never using my arm. Tore it in two places. So when I had surgery, he cut some of the bone from my shoulder to make room for the bursal (sp) sac to expand. Been fine ever since. (I do not recommend this surgery for a whim, it better hurt pretty good before you consider it!)

The only way you would know if it is inflamed is from pain. That's what bursitis is, an inflamation in the bursal sac. Inflamation in your shoulder would not show on the outside, like reddness or anything.

So, next time it happens, run to the doctor before it too late!!

Just kidding, maybe you slept wrong and pissed off your muscle or something! :wah:

I'm glad that Motrin helps and that's all you need.

Keep it moving, maybe you could help Lon out the next time he has one of his episodes he's talking about in his thread.
