I enjoyed sweet creamy rum raisin last night. Very pleasurable.

On a footnote I ate crappy ice cream the night before. It was awful and I threw it away.

Hagen Daz toasted pecan and caramelized pear. It sounded exotic but it was ****.

sounds like it should be good, just like the icecream i think i am going to throw the tub away, mint chocolate, should be good, but tastes like wet cardboard - how disappointing.

Which brand ? Im very particular about mint chip. I prefer food coloring, it should be green or its just not as much fun. Also the chips should be slivers, not big frozen chocolate chunks. Chunks are irritating and have no place in my freezer.

Tesco - its a supermarket own brand, dont suppose you have it there.

I cant find a mint icecream which is cold enough if that makes sense.

Well thats your 1st problem. Im sorry but I thought you were an ice cream connoisseur. If you buy generic ice cream what can you expect ? Hmmm ?

At least get Bryers, its all natural. Cream, milk, sugar.

Im a little shocked right now I dont mind telling you.

now ask any of the british on here how difficult it is to buy good makes of icecream in the uk if you live outside of a big city. The supermarkets stock shelves and shelves of own brand, they may have vanilla hagznddagz if you are lucky.

I am always on the lookout for good icecream, i would pay good money for it - if there was any.

Then you need to buy an ice cream maker. You have no other choice.

L&M I'm here to tell you that some of the best ice cream I have eated (and that is a lot of ice cream) has been store brands. Von's has great store brand ice cream,as well and CVS stores have very good ice cream.

My favorite ice cream is Baskin & Robbins "Gold Medal Ribbon". :-4

Makes not one bit of difference good ice cream is eaten year round here in the US. True, more is consumed in Summer but still if its "Good Ice Cream" they will come. :D
