Some days the local news just strikes me as worth talking about so I am going to lump it all together in one post and give you all food for thought.
NHL again met ...both sides can't agree...possbily by tomorrow or next day the season will be cancelled... Well hot damn folks this has been repeated for what 2 months now, I quite frankly am sick and tired of this garbage about we will cancel the season tomorrow and tomorrow and oh yes possibly tomorrow. JUST DO IT!!!!
Large people paying extra on flights as a weight issue. Yes yes yes, I have to say as a tiny person I swear when I go to check in it happens like this "isle, window or center seat mam" "Isle Please" And they get my seat. Where oh you bet your bottom dollar it is right smack beside the huge person cause there is room enough in my seat that they can overflow into my space. Good lord if we can be charged for overlarge baggage they ought to charge for overlarge humans.
Cheech and Chong back for another flick a reunited oldies do the dope secene flick. Gawd what a riot, I loved those guys as a kid and can't wait for the new flick. Funny 70's humor but hey I am that old and they were good.
And last I watched a great show on TV last nite about a guy who started a program in D.C. He gathered donated food. and food that people were going to throw out and he found a kitchen and he gathered down and out adults and brought them into his kitchen and they began cooking for the homeless, seniors and school in the area. All on donated food. It was amazing. And Impressive. What a awonderful idea. He had contracts with some very high end restraunts that had quantities of unserved food and one day they made a lovely seafood soup as the restraunt donated mass quantities of lobster, crab and anchovies and they took it to a seniors home and you should have seen their faces lite up when served lobster soup. Awesome, wish I could have remembered his name and the projects name.
Anyway my thoughts for the day.

I actually had to wait 4 hours for a flight in Phoenix to take off because a HUGE fat dude overloaded the plane so much we couldn't take off until the sun went down and the runway cooled, No kidding! (heat makes the air thinner and extends the length needed to take off) We were all pretty mad at the guy.

Gawd that is a horrific fat person on planes story. I swear when I fly alone they target me, its like a balancing act. I hate it and wonder what they would think if I politely stated I would like my airplane seat ALL to myself.
Lady Cop that very well could be the name, I have no clue but it was an amazing show I was totally taken by it to the extent of wondering how one would go about setting something like that up locally. I don't know many folks.
