Pictures That Move You

I would like to start a thread where we all can post pictures that have an impact on us. Old pictures, new pictures, any pictures as long as they make you feel something. You can explain what it is about your picture that touches you or you can just let the photo speak for itself. I think this could be a really cool thread and I hope many of you will post as you come across something good.

This is a Norman Rockwell painting, "Girl in the Mirror."

It is special to me because when I was a young girl, my mother pointed it out to me and admired it. I have a small reproduction of it in the other bedroom. My mother painted as well.

The girl in the picture is looking at herself and thinking..............about her future...about her appearance...."Hurry up...and grow up." I want to tell her to enjoy the present...enjoy being young...........the future comes soon enough. And........you are beautiful already.

I miss my mother.

Love the Johnny and June one...

Here's one I love, I posted it on FG before but want to put it here

because it does move me... my mom looks so happy to have me.

She always told me "there was no little baby ever born who was

more wanted than you."
