OK - so I still substitute teach 2 - 3 days a week because I really like the K-5 and I'd get bored without it, but I get to say "no, I can't work today" whenever I don't feel like going to work. It just really hit me....:wah: Choice Rocks!!
Now back to subject.............I got a housecleaner 2 months ago. They come once every 2 weeks and my house is always clean. Without retirement I'd still be working and cleaning the dang toilets. This has to be the single best thing that has happened to me lately. I must have cleaned 1,500 toilets a month working my way through college - didn't ever want to clean another one ever, ever, ever again.:yh_rotfl
Love y'all - happy toilet cleaning.

You're funny. I've learned to be a great sub. I rarely have to call security at the high school anymore. I get hugs from the little ones and I get called almost every day of the week to sub. I tell all of the classes that if the work is not turned in --- a big fat "0" for the day. Then we do math on how many A's, B's or C's it will take to make up that "0". Of course the teachers never said they would get a zero if they didn't do their work........:wah: I also take puzzles and learning games for the brighter kids which has just seemed to inspire the other kids. I also allow the brighter kids to help the other kids. I get asked for help so often I actually think I might be teaching something.
