More Bushite propaganda. My area is second to Miami in the amount of new HIV cases in younger people in my state. My area's school system also teaches only abstinence only sex ed curriculum and has a high rate of teen pregnancies and STD contractions. Makes me frightened a little that my kids might have sex with people who might have been infected with a disease because they were not taught proper precautions.

Anyway, I do not believe for one second that young people are more likely today to hold onto their pristine virginity till marriage.

No Helen, we beat you at this, Ireland (North & South) has the highest in the EU.There are over 300,000 single mothers here. Some have two to three kids. The welfare state pays very well towards the children. Non Nationals have heard of these free handouts from as far as East Africa to Eastern Europe. But this is going to change very soon.

I'm currently carrying out an investigation into the concept of sexual self esteem.

At present, there are existing scales which help measure individuals’ satisfaction with life and self esteem, however it is fair to say that people differ in their sexual confidence just as much as they do in their general self esteem.
