One of my babies Latesha has had runny poos for a few days, she will be 1 next Friday and this morning I was cooking and had quarter of a lemon left, so I gave it to her thinking she wouldnt have it but she is sitting on the floor sucking away on it and loving it. Then I thought have I done the wrong thing in giving it to her?

Thanks Abbey. Latesha loved her lemon didnt even screw her face up like the poor little babies in the video :) I was just concerned it would irritate her runs.

I wouldn't worry about it. But to slow up the runs you might want to feed her some bananas. :)

Its her first lemon dont think I would make a habit of it but that information is good to know as their teeth are very precious, thanks:)

Let her enjoy this but not on a regular basis. Lemons are very high in acid and can do damage to growing teeth. Might be a little hard on her stomach as well. But one won't her at all. ;)

I always used to do the BRAT thingy - Bananas, Rice and Toast (I can't for the life of me remember what the A is for, but anyway it does the trick and should make her bum feel a tad better and your nerves a little easier. :)

A is for applesauce. The BRAT diet does work good.

Anyways, my grandson is 2 1/2. He has been addicted to lemons for over a year now. His big summer treat is going to the fair or carnival and having fresh lemonade and then eating the lemon.

A little bit of regular canned pumpkin (NOT the pie filling with spices)

will help either the poops OR constipation!

(It's a miracle food!!)
