Hello, thanks to Kathy Ellen and the foodnetwork, I came up with a recipe for spaghetti sauce by incorporating two recipes into one.
2 tbsp olive oil
1 small onion, chopped
3 green onions, chopped
6 cloves garlic, minced
Saute the above in a large pan till onions are clear, about 5 minutes or so. Add the following ingrediants:
28oz can crushed tomatoes
14oz can diced tomatoes
8oz can spaghetti sauce
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp red pepper flakes
2 tbsp basil
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp Italian seasoning
2 tsp sugar
2 tsp parsley
Prepared meatballs or sausage
Stir together, add meatballs/sausage and bring to a boil. Cover, then let simmer for about an hour or so.

Spaghetti Sauce
I've been farting around with spaghetti sauces for years. I'm Irish, what do you expect:wah:but this was originally Kathy Ellen's and I just tweaked it a bit. Didn't have any red wine on hand. Its really good for a meatball sandwich.

Spaghetti Sauce
There was in place in Chicago when I was a child that sold a spaghetti dinner with bread sticks.........all you could eat for 88 cents. My mom and I would go. It was a treat and the spaghetti was delicious. I'm sure the restaurant is long gone.

Spaghetti Sauce
RJ, I originally used the whole tomatoes and just threw them into a blender to make the sauce easier to prepare. Thanks though:)
