I am changing my name...

Post by Omni_Skittles »

I shall no longer be known as Tiffaney(Yes that's how it is spelled and yes i know that it is weird) Abigail but now i shall be known as Abigail LynnAnn why? umm Abigail is my current middle name and i like it. LynnAnn is a combo of my mothers middle name. Ann comes from my dads gradmother whom he loved a whole bunches... so yea that's pretty much it. It's kinda weird hearing people call me Abigail or Abby or Abs or L.A. because i am so use to tiffaney. I'm changing it because i am getting adopted by the family that i have lived with for three years it seems... and i wanted for about two years to change it. Originally i was going to be named Abigail anyway. lol

In short for those who like things straight to the point (as in all the guys here)

I'm changing my name from tiffaney abigail to Abigail LynnAnn because i'm getting adopted.

You sound like a proposal, they're always getting adopted. Or ratified. Would you not rather be ratified?

Besides, you don't get to choose what you're called, you get named by other people. I'm going to call you Squiff.

You are such an inspiration.

Being a father of an adopted daughter I realize that this little girl had no choice in her life with regards to who ended up as her parents, and I am committed to giving her the best in life that I can offer her. It is my own hope that when she reaches 18, that she would look back on her life and say that she would choose to have been adopted by me, and in her own way, do what you have done, and adopt me as a parent as much as I adopted her as a daughter.

That's a wonderful way of looking at it and if you put that much thought into your relationship with her then she's a lucky girl.:-4

I'm a step-mother and that's a different relationship again, my two step-daughters had a some input into my joining their lives although ultimately it was their father's choice who he had a relationship with. The easy childhood years led to the difficult teenage years and on to the adult years - much, much better!!! When all is said and done I have three daughters, I gave birth to one but have shed just as many tears over all of them.

Back on topic!!

Nice name, my great neice is Abbey and I love that name. :):)

So much drama was there and i just prayed in my worst times and in what i considered my best times and God brought me a family. There is no way i would of met these amazing people. It's pretty amazing to actually have a family that umm that is just that a family. And i actually call my adopted father my dad. I've never really known one and he's been just that to me. i admire people who adopt because i know how hard it can be and i know how much ya'll sacrifice for one life... really it's amazing. Kudos.

It works, I quite like it. Abigail LynnAnn.

Is our Abbey an Abigail? Has she said?

I tried to name my daughter Jezebel but I was stopped.
