Marmite

Post by Pheasy »

I have many good American friends. Which is surprising as I always make them take my marmite challenge ..... :yh_rotfl The looks of horror as they savour that first moment :wah:

Do you like marmite?

Back to my cheese and marmite sandwich .... yummy :wah:

I was warned ahead of time to spread the vegemite very thin, even then it wasn't thin enough. I think it must definitely be an acquired taste...

Whoever told those girls to spread it thick is cruel!

Reminds me of the first time I tried wasabi- I was told it was avocado. <-- (I do believe that is the actual color I turned.)

Marmite is evil, so is vegemite, so is salad cream, so is stork margarine, so is luncheon meat, powdered soup, powdered potatoes, spray-on butter, cream from a aerosol can. All evil. Sorry. :D

Eating marmite for a few days before going to an area with mosquitos is supposed to keep them away. They don't like the smell of it.

Hmmmm......could it work with Jimbo's???:sneaky:
