Four-leaf Clovers

As some of you already know, I live on a farm. It goes without saying that i 'm outside a lot in warm weather. A couple of years ago i started finding 4-leaf clovers. Every time i stepped outside that spring and summer i found several, i didn't have to look for them, it was like they were sitting there waiting for me! Nobody else could find them but it seemed like every time i looked down at the ground, there was another one!

well as the seasons passed and another spring arrived so did the 4-leaf clovers! once again, everywhere i looked, there they were! By now this is freaking me out! What did this mean? I know they are supposed to be a sign of good luck but this was getting a little weird! In those two summers i found 60 of them!

Was God sending me a message that something good was headed my way by using something traditionally viewed as good luck? Was this a huge coincidence that i happened to find 60 of them?

Anyway, the answer finally came that fall. I was pregnant! Now you may think that nothing unusual but for me it is, I had never been able to have children. I had long since resigned myself to the fact that i would probably never be a mother, i was resigned to it but still prayed about it on a daily basis.

Now what do you guys think? Hugh coincidence or was someone telling me my prayers were about to be answered? Or something even more mysterious?

Oh and btw, my baby will be two years old in July and ever since i had him i haven't found a single 4-leaf clover!

Lovely story Hope, yes it was a sign of good news ahead. I believe that and you must have as well.

Did you keep the 4 leaf clovers?? they are rare and I look for them all the time and have only found a few in my many years of searching. :-6:-6

I remember finding one when I was a kid & mum taped it on a piece of card and kept it in her purse.

A couple of years later some rat pinched her purse while shopping,

I've looked ever since for one whenever I see a field of clover, but no luck yet.

yes, i did keep most of them, i have them pressed in a book, i'll give them to my Jacob one day when he's old enough and tell him the story.

yeah, that's what made it so spooky, they are usually so hard to find!:wah:

i agree, i've never believed in coincidences i think there's a reason for everything!:)

yeah it's a great story, but it freaked me out a little when it was happening, i just wonder what it would mean if i started finding them again?:wah::wah:

My wife has a four leaf clover tattooed on her left ankle. She had it done on a drunken weekend in Dallas.

I found one once and pressed it in my Bible by Psalm 100. That was the first Psalm I learned in Sunday School.

I still have it.:-6

Hope, I think it's a great idea to give your book to your son when he is grown. Maybe it will bring him good luck and the luck to the generations afterward.

yes maybe the good luck will go on, as the story and the clovers are passed down from generation to generation!

i found another 4 leaf clover today!

after almost 3 years of not finding a single one!
