wrist-bands

Hi there Petal,
Call me an ignoramus........or a cynic. I just don't see what the anti-bullying wristbands do for the cause, except maybe line the pockets of those who manufacture them. Yes i think they would become a fashion accessory, but unlike the cancer pins/badges - were i hope we can be rest assured that at least some of the money goes into researching cures and treatments. Can the same be said about anti-bullying. I think it is a problem that needs to be taken account of in schools and even although there are policies indicating a zero tolerance - not much progress can be made because no-one really knows what to do with the bullies in the first place - if they are kids too!
How would the money gained from buying the wristbands be used?
