Hi, i'm new.
Can someone tell me if it's possible to upload my own photo to use as an avatar? The answer will likely decide whethere i stick around or not.

Hello Valentin,
If you want to use your own avatar you need to become a supporting (paying) member; that's one of the perks of membership.
If you go click on "My Settings" down at the bottom of your Control Panel under "Miscellaneous" it will explain membership fees and info to you.
