Alll of the Prophets , Although blessed and raised above other men in their generations by ALLAH, were born with human qualities . These human qualites have allows ALLAH's Prophets to become victims of Sin .

I think the prophets were mortal like us all, just more attuned to God when all was said and done. It was their words inspired by the Divine that we have today, to learn from.
