I like that Greg "someone or other" song..."They said there'd be snow at Christmas," or something similar. What's it called?

Oh and of course, Fairytale of New York

I Believe In Father Christmas by Greg Lake (of Emerson Lake and Palmer) - the best Christmas song ever :-)

Thank you, Bryn. I didn't realise he was the Lake from Emerson, Lake and Palmer! But, yes, the very best :-6

i am a complete fanatic! i put my tree up the day after Halloween!

i decorate the entire house inside and out i have a huge manger scene collection, i have one in every room of the house as well as an angel collection!

i have an outside tree that is so big you have to have a ladder to reach the top to put the lights on it!

and i have a christmas card list of over 100 people!

Yes to the cardi...I've already bought one in preparation (and worn it :o). And trousies to match.

Boots. And no.

Don't know.

And a couple of other tips that I've already been practising (according to my kids)

1. Learn how to rev your engine loudly and for several minutes, whilst stationery, and before kangaroo hopping out of your parking space at Asda. And don't forget to hit the barrier at the same time. When the latter happens, look surprised (which you will be anyway) and just keep going...this ensures that the scraped paint, dents etc on the side of your car are clearly visible to all.

2. Always have your television set on high volume (you'll have to because you won't be able to hear it if you don't). When your kids call around and shout, "Mum, your television is far too loud!" respond with, "Yes, I know, I thought one of you had sat on the remote!" Then turn it down...it won't matter since you can no longer hold a conversation and listen to Corrie at the same time anymore.

i guess it's lucky for my tree that i don't have cats! :wah::wah:

but i decorate so much that i have to get an early start!

and i find that if the tree's already up, when you do your christmas shopping you can wrap the gifts and put them under the tree as you buy them instead of having to put them somewhere and clutter up another room!
