Movie HERO??

When you were a kid. Who was your HERO??

OMG!! John Wayne, I think i drove my family CRAZY with this. My dad liked him too. So if i wanted to see one of his movies at the theater over and over. it was OK with him. When i was about 10 i had a cousin who loved OLd GANSTER movie I WAS HOOKED. Cagney, Bogart, Robinson, and Raft. But James Cagney was NO#1.

You know, now that MOST of our REAL movie stars have passed. who will replace them. Yes Depp and Pitt. are fine actors. But there are very few gut wrenching performances. Like there use to be. Who do you feel that is young is a REAL MOVIE STAR:yh_star

You cant compare him to a Bogart or a Peck because the genre is completely different.

Pound for pound though Id stack him up against anyone else in Hollywood today.

I feel like Im supposed to like her, I dont dislike her, I can see she has as they say honed her craft but something about her rubs me the wrong way ever so slightly.

Nomad i think she has great talent. kind of compare her to Bettie Davis, A strong woman. or Joan C.
