so ladies help me out here ... give me the benefit of your experience ...

do pickup lines get us guys anywhere or should we like just be ourselves?

would pickup lines like this pop your cork?

me ... "hey! you wanna come over and do some math later today?

you ... "what?"

me ... "you know ... add the bed ... subtract the clothes ... divide the legs and

multiply!"

or ...

"do you live in tennesse cos you the only ten i see!

or ...

hey! i'm new in town ... can i have directions to your house?"

if these don't do it for you ... what do you like to hear?

Normally when over the years I was given a typical cheap chat up line I had many replys to them that I had better not put here............but one I can tell you was to look at the slime ball coming out with words that was as old as the trousers he had on and looked him up and down and say in my lady like way........Im fed up darlin but bleedin hard up.....end of slime ball:D

i dont normally like the daft chat up lines, i had a good put down to one once but its far too rude to put on here:o I used to even have a good chat up line myself very funny, but again too un pc now:o

Just normal chat would usualy work for me and someone who made me laugh:D

When I met Chris I was very down over somefing and he said somefing so nice....basically it was saying he would look after me but in a very romantic way.....I remember finking it was such a sweet fing to say and how clever of him to think of somefing like that to say:-4....................About a year later we were out shopping and went into MacDonalds for a drink....we were sitting talking and there was some music in the background........then it happened...........I heard those bleedin words again!!!!!!They were part of a song fgs:-5:-5So much for romance!!!!!:sneaky::rolleyes:;)

Cool men don't need pick up lines to get cool women to talk to them. If a simple hello doesn't work, then one of you is not cool. :wah:

I suppose that I've always been cool, then... I've never seriously used a pick up line ( 'cept for in amusing situations.. generally intimate, playful situations with someone that I don't have to "pick up")... I have had a few creative pick up lines used by women on me, however... :wah:

This is rude carolly. My fav put down to guys used to be "sorry love, i want something that will choke me, not get stuck in my teeth".

My own chat up line to guys was "Hey, get yer coat, you've pulled".

Chat up or charm do not work on me.

A true salesman-- cool. Is it just me? i find quite odd looking guys sexy if they are funny & make me laugh. In England, 2 examples are Dara Obrian & Paul Merton. Not what you'd call the most handsome of men but there's definitley something about them. Mind you, Gordon Brown is hysterical but the same does not apply.

With all the joking aside, i do agree with you. Men shouldn't feel they need a good line to pull a ladie. I think that after such t.v. shows such as "sex in the city", women can be portrayed as predatory man eaters. I'm sure some younger more sensitive men can be put off by this kind of stero typing. If a man is too arrogant, women complain. You will never win guys, not with the fairer sex.:-4:p:-5

Red G. is right. A woman doesn;t want to hear a line of bull. Maybe silly little girls. but not a REAL woman. If he treats her with kindness. also respects. Then lines are not neede at all.
