A Warm Bed?

Post by Lon »

I guess I am different but I hate getting into a warm bed, even on the coldest of nights. Dunno, just seems fresher when the sheets and pillow cases are cold. I warm em up pretty quick with my own body heat.

How about you?

funny enough so, I agree! I think most want that warm bed, but I love it cool, then snuggle all around in the covers!

I can't stand a warm room, bed or pillow.

you really should buy an electric blanket!

I also have an electric wrap for the couch to keep me warm.

Obviously it depends on where you live.

When I lived in Washington - so cold & everything can get so damp, I prayed I could get warm in bed. (reminds me of a Shirley Temple Movie, SARA, she's in a attic bedroom very cold)

So, Nomad if you survive a MN winter - HAT'S OFF TO YA !!

of course you want a warm bed - you want everything warm.

My body ached in the MN winter - I cried

Now in AZ - and Carla is in CA & others in a warmer climate

we appreciate the cool crisp of anything - Isn't that right Carla ?

I don't trust a electric cacoon

Good night - sleep tight

Cool bed. Hubby puts off enough heat to equal two heating blankets. I also have a big fan, on high, blowing right into my face or I can't sleep.

ME too....I have 3 fans in my room actually, but that is because I have no a/c unit in my bedroom, thankfully the summer hasn't been that hot this year. I have an oscolating (sp?) fan on my face and body, one over my head that is in the windo, and a ceiling fan....ahhhhhhh....LOVE IT!

Hey Wendy, we're fan buddies! :wah::wah: I only have one fan, but it sits in front of the A/C vent and about 2ft from my face. I use the fan every night of the year...my hubby can't sleep without one now either, I trained him about the fan. :wah::wah:

I like the bed cool when it's hot outside but in the winter I'd like it warm. I can never get warm enough when it's cold outside.

I agree, cool bed and sheets.

I make my bed each morning before leaving the house and change the sheets once a week......the way my mom did it and made us do it growing up. Nothing like crawling into a fresh bed each night. I can't stand an un-made bed.

My luxury is an electric blanket, and in the cold nights of winter, I heat up the bed 15 minutes before going to sleep. Ah, that is so nice. :)

I agree Odie, electric blankets rock:-6 on a cold, damp night. I also love getting into a crips, cold bed.
