Do you smoke?

Are you a reformed smoker like myself?

I give up cigarettes over 20 years ago now.

Do you love to smoke?

I enjoyed smoking, loved a couple in the bath, in bed before going to sleep, in the pub with half a lager and a packet of salt n vinegar crisps, after a sunder roast...list is endless.

I gave up after a friend said to me one day, I bet you don't have periods, you have soot falls...............SHOCK! Made me sit up and think and I have never looked back.

Do you hate smoking and are you glad of the new smoking laws we now have?

I quit smoking after my neck surgery in march for 2 months. Hubby stressed my out so bad that it left me 3 options. 1) start drinking again (I've got almost 5yrs clean) but I'm not doing that. 2) Kill hubby, but I don't wanna go to jail. 3) start smoking again. Needless to say, I'm smoking again. I'll try again when I'm less stressed. :)

Do I smoke? Nope.

Gave up at the beginning of this year. Started chewing nicoteen gum. Now addicted to that. At least it's cheaper than smoking and I don't get all the carcinogens that are in cigarettes. Also I don't have to go outside to get my fix. So yeah, the laws have affected me, in a good way.
I'm too compassionate to be an utter bastard.

Too self respecting to be a caring idiot.

Too much pride to give up the self respect.

And not willing to take the rap for a lack of compassion.

Where does this leave me? Nowhere. What does this leave me? Nothing. Who does this leave me? Noone.

I smoke roll-ups with filters - cheaper, not quite so many chemicals, more taste. I would like to give up, but feel I can't till my life is less stressful !! I couldn't inflict such cruelty on the rest of my family, neither can I afford to buy a complete new wardrobe of clothes when my weight increases ! (well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it !).

I put hate the stuff but I don't really.

I would have a smoke tomorrow if I could.

I started experimenting with cigarettes when I was 13.

I was well & truly hooked by the time i was 19.

Gave it up when I was pregnant with both kids.

Took it back up after that & smoked till I was 35.

Gave it up for 10 years, got cancer & took it back up again.

My thought was well I am going to die might as well have a smoke.

Gave it up as a new year resolution with my son inlaw in 2000.

Haven't had a cigarette since.Never will again.

But I love the smell of a freshly lit cigarette.:-6:-6
