wacky printer

My Canon printer has a glitch. It seems to print photos fine but streaks the text. I'm going to try to find and download the software again. Any other ideas? I know printers are cheap but this one plugs into my camera...I like it.

I have had a similar problem with my Canon Koan, but using all the head cleaning functions took care of it.

yup. tried that a few times. still haven't had a chance to download the software again. hopefully that works.

Try cleaning the inkjet heads and realigning the cartridge via the printer software. Should help.

I've done that three or four times. Now I'm out of ink. This is my dilemma. Do I buy more ink just to find out it isn't going to work still or do I toss it and get a new one?
