If you had to live in America, which state would you choose?? And Why??

If you had to advertise your State, American Friends, how would you do it??

Washington State or Oregon, I can't imagine better walking country.

If I was to, I would try one of the States that you never hear anything about. Montana or Utah or something.

Utah!! Kanab area.

It's arguably one of the most naturally beautiful places I have ever been.

That's the State where I live.......in the southeast part. A place to relax and enjoy nature. A place of country roads, fields of cotton, pine forests, and small towns. A place of new attractions and historical landmarks.

I like all the choices - especially the Western States: WA, OR, WY, MT, UT. Wyoming and Utah's scenery is drop dead gorgeous.

You know I have to vote for my favorite. :D

As I said in another thread, it would be Vermont, as that's where the S.O. lives.

It's a beautiful state, and I like the natives.

I'd also be very close to the Canadian border, so it wouldn't feel like I've really left my country.

your a MN trader..What more could you ask for as Target as your Capital.?:wah:

Wyoming is beautiful, I'd love to visit.

Spot - I'm from the Seattle, WA area,, how may I guide you thru the pouring down rain, watch out for that mud puddle, opps, too late..Tally-Ho..

I'm not sure on a personal choice - as I'd need to visit/tour.

I do miss the seasons & especially love the Fall.

I would like to see more of the states

I love many parts of California, Montana rocks, and Washington state is gorgeous. I am torn, I think today I would choose Montana :)

My husband and I are big on road trips. Fortunalty for me I have seen a lot of the USA. COLORADO is the state for me. I have asthma and I can breathe there.

How would I sell Illinois? The politicions are crooked, have had three governors sent to prison and the present one will probably get there. The humidity is high, the taxes are high, gas is high. :driving::driving:

California, just came back from my visit home. The weather and beauty is great, the culture is so much laid back, and alll my family and friends are there.

Pennsylvania where the weather is different in all 4 seasons especially the fall when the trees change colors. Spectacular!

I did some searching on Savannagh. I love those colonial buildings. One of my favourite films "The color purple" had beautiful locations.

You've got the ocean a couple of hours away, you've got the small towns in the country, you've got the hills to the West and the Bay to the East; the change of seasons is a good mix with Fall colors and not too much snow in the Winter. All in all not too shabby.

The ocean is about an hour away from where we are (Philly), and as for snow storms they usually stay west of us and we get rain. I have kids and we got one snow day in February. Haven't seen a white Christmas in eons.

I've got a cousin in Colorado. She lived in Virginia for about 2 years but hated the humidity..I always teased her and said "you have to born on the East coast to appreciate the hot, humid weather of summer":wah: We're used to it.

That's where I am! The trees are starting to change now, love the colors but it goes way too fast for me. Winter comes in couple weeks..I'm very rural see more snow but yes the last couple years not so much. We're overdue for one, perhaps this year? I'd rather snow than ice...

I wouldn't want to live in any state but the one i've lived in all my life, Virginia!

we're a couple hours drive from the mountains if you want to go there, and a couple hours drive from the ocean if you prefer that! It's got all the seasons, beautiful fall colors and snow in the winter and beautiful flowers and scenery in the spring and summer!

and if you're a history buff like i am, it's full of historic old houses and since a large portion of the Civil War was fought here, lots of battlefields, including the site of General Lee's surrender at Appomattox Court House. and don't forget some of our country's first settlements at Jamestown and Williamsburg.

and also some natural wonders too, Natural Bridge and Luray Caverns.

and it has the distinction of being called the "mother of presidents", since 8 of our presidents were born here.

I've lived West Coast, East Coast, Rocky Mountains, Adirondack Mountains, Smoky Mountains, tropics, subtropics, wine country, out-in-the country, big city, small city, rural town, Deep South, high desert, and now southern Texas (definitely different from the Deep South). I wish I had a dial-a-region so I could choose the landscape I see when I step out the door, because they are all beautiful.
