This Weeks Dow

As expected, this weeks DOW managed to gyrate up and down and was influenced by a number of things not before mentioned. Greenland glaciers are melting at an alarming rate and causing concern, plus, it's expected that the Swallows will be retuning to San Juan Capistrano in lesser numbers than ever before. Finally, the rumor that egg plant will be in short supply has caused anxiety in the Italian American community. The DOW did manage to finish higher than last Friday and hopefully this coming week will show more improvement as Joe the Plummer signs on to be on Oprah Winfrey's show.

It did rather float around a lot Lon. The eternal victory of optimism over common sense, eh?

I still think it's going to bottom around 4000 by next May.

I am enjoying your take on it, Lon. If only news reports made me smile and laugh so much. :)

I don't often hotlink but I will this time.

That suggests a floor around 7000, I think it'll break through. I think the problems go beyond a simple cycle.

The hotlink rather predictably failed, please excuse the low quality graph. It's the Dow from 1900 to date.
